PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical piece managing device with a function of retrieving and distributing a musical piece such that the name of a place in a travel is included in the title of the music or lyrics. SOLUTION: An area name related musical piece distributing device is equipped with: a place name storage means which store latitudes, longitudes, and names of places; a musical piece storage means which stores the names of places and musical piece information; a means of extracting the name of a place corresponding to a latitude and a longitude received from an on-vehicle terminal from the place name storage means; a means of extracting musical piece information corresponding to the extracted name of a place from the musical piece storage means; and a means of distributing the extracted musical piece information to the on-vehicle terminal.
