PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical system with successful optical performance, less vignetting, which fills a field angle and an F number which a photographing person intends and can be miniaturized with respect to the optical system having an image rotation function arranged on the image side of a photographic lens. SOLUTION: The optical system having an image rotator in which an incident optical axis and an emission optical axis become a common axis on an image side from a primary imaging surface of an imaging lens, is constituted by providing a first group having negative power between the imaging lens and the primary imaging surface, a second group having positive power between the primary imaging surface and the image rotator and a third group having positive power on an image side from the image rotator.
