PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for architecture improving moldability by a less manufacture process and an inexpensive metal mold by lessening a cutting die by a simple press metal mold and performing press working at a small ton number on molding technology by press or the like in the member for architecture for continuing a laterally extending construction panel having a front base part alternately having a plurality of substantially rectangular section faces and shallow grooved decorative grooves by molding a metal plate while having design continuity in a longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: The member for architecture comprises a cover material molding the metal plate having an insertion on the rear face by possessing a cover face mutually having a plurality of substantially rectangular section areas and shallow grooved decorative recesses; and a projection body having a fixing piece fixed by sandwiching the covering face and the insertion piece, and the insertion pieces having a locking means.
