PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety razor adaptable to various types of users and, even if the position and the direction of a force applied to a handle is changed by shifting the razor from one hand to the other by a user, constantly optimizing the fit to the handle responding to the change. SOLUTION: A pair of sidewall parts 8 and 8 forming the handle 2 are extended in the length direction at some interval apart from each other, both the side wall parts are connected by connecting parts 9 and 10 laid across both the side wall parts, the upper ends of both the side walls are provided with shaving structures composed blades and blade support parts, an elastic part 11 is provided to fill the whole or a part of the space between both the side wall parts, both the side wall parts 8 and 8 can be mutually compressed in the width direction of the handle 2 and, when both the side walls are compressed, the elastic part 11 is deformed responding to the compression of the side wall parts.
