The invention concerns a coding device for a storage memory error detection and correction in an electronic system comprising an electronic component (10), such as a microprocessor for example, and a storage unit (11). Said device comprises coding means (20) installed in series on the memory accesses (11), and structured in pipeline stages so as to have the same rate as the electronic component when the latter writes in memory, particularly during block transfers. The invention also concerns a coding method for a storage memory error detection and correction subassembly in an electronic system. |
