The present invention refers to the composition of a medicinal (curative) herbal substance, which is useful for curing ear infections, reducing ear pain and re-establishing the hearing capacity. The preparation of the aforementioned substance requires the following elements: a sterilized glass container, where 400ml of 96° cane alcohol are poured therein, as well as Basil and chumiate (small dark sweet fruit like a grape) leaves at a ratio of 125 gr.:125 gr. respectively. Said leaves are macerated in alcohol for about 6 to about 10 days, though 8 days are the optimum maceration time at a temperature ranging from about 23 °C to about 27 °C. 200 ml of distilled water or previously boiled water as well as 15gr of silver filings are added to other sterilized glass container, which is placed on direct heat and allowed to boil until half liquid has evaporated and 100 ml remained in the container, this step requires an approximate time of 15 min on direct heat. The container is subsequently taken away from fire and put aside to cool until it reaches the environment temperature. Both substances, which are obtained by maceration and boil, must be strained and poured into a sterilized glass container able to be hermetically closed. The mixture of the aforesaid preparations originates the substance of the invention.
