FIELD: operation and repair of acting main gas conduits, mainly of large diameters. ^ SUBSTANCE: the method consists in the fact that acess to it of natural gas from acting gas conduit is closed from both sides, and natural gas being in it is removed under pressure, to this end, that piston-separators of media are introduced in the section under repair and positioned at the end of the section under repair in the direction of motion of natural gas in the gas conduit, and removal of gas is carried out by transfer of it from the section under repair to a parallel-acting gas conduit or to the acting gas conduit under repair in the section positioned behind the point of shut-off to the section of gas access under repair, with the aid of the piston-separators an interlaying of inert gas is produced, a preliminary compression of gas is produced by displacement of them to the beginning of the section under repair for provision of its complete transfer. ^ EFFECT: preservation of environment and provision of safety of the repair work, as well as prevention of loss of natural gas. ^ 1 dwg |
