PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide base paper for a liquid container having two functions of suitable acid resistance and shading properties in combination according to a unitary method for production. SOLUTION: The base paper for the liquid container having the shading properties is characterized as follows. A color pigment, a white filler and aluminum sulfate are compounded in the middle of a multiply paperboard and the amount of the color pigment compounded is 0.01-1% based on the bone dry pulp. The amount of the compounded white filler is 5-25% based on the bone dry pulp in multiply paperboard having the acid resistance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
