CAST COATED PAPER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cast coated paper having high productivity, excellent in face feeling, white paper glossiness and printability of cast surface and excellent in face feeling white paper glossiness and printability of non-cast surface and to provide a method for producing the cast coated paper. SOLUTION: In the cast coated paper having coated layers mainly each consisting of a pigment and an adhesive on both surfaces of a base paper and obtained by applying cast processing to one side of the coated layer and finishing the paper, the base paper comprises an organic compound having action inhibiting bond between fibers of base paper and the coated layer of face opposite to a cast-processed surface comprises inorganic pigment and a plastic pigment in an amount of 5-50 pts. wt. based on 100 pts. wt. inorganic pigment.
