<p>PURPOSE:To miniaturize a tape recorder by simplifying a mechanism which positions a magnetic head and pinch roller. CONSTITUTION:Lever 32 fitted with magnetic head 33, pinch roller 34 and rotary roller 38 is made rotatable on support point 36 on the run-directional extension line of a magnetic tape running between pinch roller 34 and capstan axis 44 and pulled by spring 37 in the direction of capstan axis 44 and cam 39 fitted in one to ratchet wheel 40 rotated by spring 41 fitted to operation member 42 is arranged in contact with rotate roller 38. Consequently, even if lever 32 would be displaced horizontally, magnetic head 33 only moves in the direction perpendicular to the magnetic tape and while the phase displacement of a recording signal on the magnetic tape is suppressed to a minimum, the displacement of magnetic head 33 is less than that of pinch roller 34, so that the need for a spring mechanism exclusively used for pressing pinch roller 34 against the capstan axis will be eliminated.</p> |
