<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical treatment material and a method of manufacturing the same, capable of not only satisfying clinical requirements on the adhesion of tissues but also reducing the toxicity of the component of a synthetic material itself or its decomposed material when the synthetic material is used, having the biological decomposing/absorption properties, capable of quickly coping with the urgent application by reducing the preparation work whose timing is previously estimated, performed during an operation, without requiring a special device in using the treatment material, and to provide a polysaccharide derivative, or a medical treatment material using the composition and a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The medical treatment material is a sheet-like material made of a powder layer and a support layer.
