PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase in the cost by reducing the scale of look-up tables for color conversion. SOLUTION: The number of bits of the look-up table (SRAMs 6L, 6a and 6b) for color conversion are made to be different by color, e.g. L is made to be eight bits and (a) and (b) are made to be six bits. Besides, L is made to be coordinate point data after 16-division and (a) and (b) are made to be coordinate point data after 8-division.
