<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably manufacturing a lithographic printing plate material with a hydrophilic layer containing particles such as colloidal silica using a plastic support and a method for making a lithographic printing plate showing excellent dot and fine line reproducibiliy, by virtue of the use of this lithographic printing plate material and printing using this lithographic printing plate. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the lithographic printing plate material comprising at least one hydrophilic layer and an imaging layer formed in that order on the plastic support, the hydrophilic layer is formed by first making an ultrasonic dispersion of a coating liquid of the hydrophilic layer, then applying and drying the coating liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
