PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed cooling device used for a wide range of purposes with high shape freedom. SOLUTION: An inside of a roll 1 is maintained in a predetermined pressure state in advance, and a heat exchange medium 8 is accumulated inside. A cooling member 7 is arranged in the roll 1. A cooling fluid supply pipe 3 is connected to an inlet side of the cooling member 7, and a fluid discharge pipe 5 is connected to an outlet side. An object for exchanging heat is heated by vapor of the heat exchange medium 8 generated in the roll 1, and at the same time, is cooled by vaporizing the heat exchange medium 8 at low temperatures spreading in an inner periphery of the roll 1.
