METHOD FOR TRANSFORMING RECIPIENT CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for readily transforming a recipient cell from a donor cell containing a target DNA without collecting or purifying the target DNA once. SOLUTION: The method for transforming the recipient cell comprises mixing and culturing the donor cell and the recipient cell under a condition wherein the bacteriolysis of a part of the donor cell containing the target DNA is caused and the recipient cell is kept in a competent state.
