PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motorcycle tire capable of enhancing the straight running performance and the turning performance compatibly and also enhancing the high-speed durability performance. SOLUTION: At least one of the belt plies of the motorcycle tire is furnished with belt cords 10 having curved portions 10A extending along a curve K in the shape of a circular arc and located in isolation in the circumferential direction where the angleαrelative to the tire circumferential direction in the ply plane decreases gradually in the same circumferential direction from the tire equator C to the edges E of the belt ply. The center angleα1 of the curve K at the tire equator C is made 75-90°, while the end angleα2 at the edge E of the belt ply is made 0-25°. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
