PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a loop of a virtual network crossing at least two rings in the case that a segment shared between the rings has a failure. SOLUTION: A node connected to the shared segment and rings detects the failure of the segment which can not transmit a data traffic and prevents the transmission of the data traffic among all rings except the node and one ring responding to the detection of the failure.
