<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image diagnostic apparatus facilitating observation of the movement of a tracking point displayed by following the movement of a living tissue. <P>SOLUTION: The image diagnostic apparatus has a display section 2 displaying a dynamic image made by photographing the tomogram of a living body, an operating section 3 setting a mark at a location of the living tissue whose movement is wanted to be followed in a still image of the dynamic image displayed on the display section 2, a tracking means 4 for tracking the movement of the living tissue at the location where the mark is set, on the dynamic image and forming a tracking image moving and displaying the mark displayed on the display section 2 according to the movement of the dynamic image, and an image accentuating means 13a accentuating the edge of the mark.
