<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of effectively providing a supplier with motivation for enhancing quality of an article to be supplied to a buyer. <P>SOLUTION: By this quality control system, a first processing unit 110 recognizes the number of supplied defective articles from the supplier to the buyer, etc. based on communication with a first computer 210. In addition, a second processing unit 120 calculates an "evaluation index" for evaluating the quality of the supplied articles from each supplier to the buyer based on the number of defective articles and creates "evaluation information" according to the evaluation index.
