<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation failure point specification method and insulation failure point specification device for stator capable of specifying a stator circumferential position where an insulation failure point is present without being influenced by noise. <P>SOLUTION: In this insulation failure point specification method for stator, for every moving antenna signal measuring position, whether each of paired fixed antenna signal and moving antenna signal is a discharge detection signal or a noise detection signal is determined based on a set of detected moving antenna signal and fixed antenna signal in step S5.
