PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein correction operation cannot be performed, since waiting must be performed, until reaching an alarm setting time display position set previously, in order to modify the alarm setting time by a pointer display type electronic timepiece having conventional alarm functions. SOLUTION: In the electronic timepiece for correcting a set designated value by correction operation, having a normal operation mode and the other mode, which is transferred to the other mode by switching operation and performing operation for switching the mode up to a corresponding set designated value, the set designated value can be corrected by immediately stopping operation, when performing correction operation of the set designated value, on the way of performing operation up to the corresponding set designated value, when transfer for the other mode switching is performed.
