PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new agrochemical and an antifoulant for underwater organisms, especially an insecticide and acaricide. SOLUTION: This acrylonitrile compound is expressed by the formula [wherein, R is a 1-6C alkyl, a 3-7C cycloalkyl or a 1-4C haloalkyl which may be substituted by a 1-4C alkyl, or the like; R<SP>1</SP>is H, a halogen, a 1-6C alkyl or the like; A is a specific 5-membered aromatic heterocyclic ring containing 2 hetero atoms selected from N, O and S; B is a 2-6C alkenyl, a 2-6C haloalkenyl, a 2-6C alkynyl or the like], and the agrochemical and antifoulant for underwater organisms containing the compound are provided.
