PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact antenna which has reduced ghosts in digital broadcasting and is suitable for receiving digital broadcasting, although a currently popular Yagi antenna, which is large in size and lacks visual stability, may be used for receiving terrestrial digital broadcasting. SOLUTION: The quad antenna is a wide-band antenna A for receiving digital broadcasting by taking advantage of a compact configuration of a quad antenna and improving narrow-band characteristic C which has been regarded as a weak point of the antenna. In other words, the perimeter on the side of the radiator of the quad antenna is set above a desired frequency band, and the perimeter on the side of the reflector is set below the frequency band.
