Socks not providing stiff feeling and tightened feeling to a wearer when the toe of the wearer is stored therein, having no connection part, producing no drawing up of knitted fabric, and providing excellent visual style. A toe storage part (20) formed laterally asymmetrically in a roughly trapezoidal shape in plan view deviated to a thumb side continuously with a cylindrically knitted part (10) forming a foot rear side portion (11) and an instep portion (12) is formed by a socks knitting machine. In the toe storage part (20), a knitting part (25) for increasing thickness by forward rotating knitting along the outline thereof is formed between the front part (22) and the rear part (21) reverse-rotatingly knitted in the roughly trapezoidal shape in plan view.
