<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the image density level of an outputted image to be approximately fixed even when a cartridge is replaced during use between image forming apparatuses in two or more types of image forming apparatuses having different process speeds and an image forming apparatus group provided with the cartridge which can be commonly used in each image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: When a developing apparatus is present which can be used by attachment to a first image forming apparatus and a second image forming apparatus with a different processing speed from the first image forming apparatus, as the used quantity of toner in the cartridge becomes greater, control is carried out so that the difference in voltage between peaks of AC voltage in the first image forming apparatus main body and the peaks of AC voltage in the second image forming apparatus are made different. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
