PURPOSE: A display device is provided to display an image by a liquid crystal display unit and transmit or block light by each opening/closing unit of a liquid crystal barrier unit. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display unit(20) is provides to either one of a first area or a second area. The first area is located between a first polarizer and a second polarizer. The second area is located between the second polarizer and a third polarizer. A liquid crystal barrier part(10) is provided to the other one of the first area or the second area. The liquid crystal barrier part comprises a plurality of opening/closing parts. The opening/closing parts transmit or block light.
