<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrist wearing apparatus capable of detecting the pulse precisely on the basis of the pulsation of the blood vessel of the wrist. <P>SOLUTION: A wrist watch 100 has a case 1, a band section 2 for attaching the case on the wrist W, and a fluid chamber 5 installed on the wrist side of the case 1 for detecting the pulse. Among wall sections surrounding the fluid chamber, a wall section 39 on the wrist side is made of two layers comprising an elastically deformable member 36 which undergoes elastic deformation in response to the pulsation transmitted from the band section to change the inner pressure of the fluid chamber and a deformation preventing member 37 arranged on one side of the elastically deformable member for preventing the elastic deformation of the elastically deformable member.
