PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a failure of an armature due to a coil spring at a wire dot printer head, and moreover to realize a stable urging operation of the coil spring. SOLUTION: There are set the armature which has an arm 9 for supporting a wire for printing 10, is opposed to a core and can freely oscillate, the coil spring 15 which butts against the arm 9 thereby separating the armature from the core, and a supporting member 6a for supporting the coil spring 15 to freely carry out the urging operation. A winding end of the armature side of the coil spring 15 is positioned nearer to the supporting member 6a side than a butting position 37 where the coil spring butts against the armature, and is positioned inside of the coil spring 15. The failure of the armature by the coil spring 15 is thus prevented. Moreover, the stable urging operation of the coil spring 15 can be realized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
