The operating device (1) for a motorcar door lock has a bearer (2), on which are arranged an outer grip, a transmission lever (4) and an entry side of a lift transmission device (6). The outer grip operates the transmission lever to rotate around a rotary axis (5) and the transmission lever is coupled with the entry side (7) of the lift transmission device. It conveys by its rotary movement a lift function to the entry side. The lift transmission device is coupled with the door lock and operates it by its lift function. The input side of the lift transmission device is rotatably adjustably fitted around the rotary axis and can be fixed in different rotary positions.
