<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium capable of performing hologram recording and reproducing or thermal recording of a ROM by one recording medium, and easily detecting the recording position of a hologram while maintaining a recording capacity. <P>SOLUTION: This optical recording medium is provided with a hologram recording layer for applying object light and reference light to record the information of the object light as interference fringes in one surface, and a ROM layer having a recessed or projected pit preformed in the other surface, and thus the recording position of the hologram is easily detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
