INHIBITION OF OCCLUSION OF BLOOD VESSEL AFTER INTERVENING BLOOD VESSEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means and method for preventing restenosis of a blood vessel after angioplasty, vascular bypass, transplantation of an organ or disease of the blood vessel by accelerating the curing of blood vessel tissue without risk of sudden re-occlusion and controlling muscle cell proliferation (hyperplasia) of the blood vessel.

SOLUTION: This method is provided for inhibition of vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation or restenosis of the blood vessel following injury to the blood vessel tissue in the blood vessel region of a patient requiring for treatment for the blood vessel region. The method includes a process of transplanting biological compatible matrix in or on which dissociated endothelial cells is inoculated in a region outside injury or blocking to the blood tissue in a sufficient quantity to inhibit vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation.
