PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit which reduces a burden of layout design in the case of inserting a switch to a power source line for preventing a leakage current, and which reduces an influence of a voltage drop caused by the switch to a signal delay. SOLUTION: A plurality of groups PL1 of power source lines are arranged in a state of stripes to supply power to circuit cells 10 through a plurality of groups BL2 of branch lines branched from the groups PL1 of power source lines. Then, power supply to the circuit cells 10 is cut off by power source switch cells 20 inserted to the plurality of groups BL2 of branch lines. Therefore, the switch cells 20 are arranged as widely dispersed in areas where the circuit cells 10 can be arranged to finely cut off power supply to each of a comparatively small number of circuit cells 10 by the switch cells 20.
