OPTICAL LOW PASS FILTER SWITCHING APPARATUS FOR DIGITAL CAMCORDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical low pass filter switching apparatus for a digital camcorder whereby the operation is smoothed, related parts are prevented from being damaged and the reliability of a product can be maintained. SOLUTION: The optical low pass filter switching apparatus includes: a first optical low pass filter for passing light of a first wavelength among incoming image information items; a second optical low pass filter of a second wavelength among the incoming image information items; a switching lever pivotably fixed to a housing having a first end which moves in relation to the movement of the optical low pass filter fixing part turnably fixed to the housing of a lens assembly to selectively locate the optical low pass filter fixing part in one of a first optical low pass filter setting position and a second optical low pass filter setting position; an operating part slidably disposed in an outer casing which seals the lens assembly; and a link part connected with the operating part and a second end of the switching lever forming a predetermined angle with respect to the first end and transforming the movement of the operating part into a tangential movement in a rotational trajectory of the second end of the switching lever.
