PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen device causing no winding dislocation of a screen. SOLUTION: The screen device 1 of this example is arranged on the window side of a building, and can suitably shield the light. The screen device has the screen 5 having a fastener 4 in side edge parts 2 and 3 mutually opposed in the X-direction, a substantially drum-shaped winding shaft 9 diametrally contracted toward small diameter end parts 6 and 7 from a large diameter central part 8 and winding the screen 5 by rotation in the R-direction, and a weight 13 extending in the shaft direction of the winding shaft 9, the X-direction in this example and connected to the reeled-out end 12 of the screen 5 so that surfaces 10 and 11 of the screen 5 become flat.
