<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone for informing a user on a battery residual capacity of the mobile phone with an inexpensive configuration as simple as possible on the basis of a clear and proper criterion. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile phone measures an average speech time in the past and a maximum speech time in the past on the basis of speech times measured by a speech time measurement circuit (timer) 140 and the number of speech times counted by a number of speech times measurement circuit (counter) 150 and respectively stores the average speech time in the past and the maximum speech time in the past to a data memory 160. Further, address directory data stored in the data memory 160 stores a speech opposite party dependent average speech time and a speech opposite party dependent maximum speech time as parts of the stored data. The mobile phone compares a speech available time respectively with the average speech time, the maximum speech time, the speech opposite party dependent average speech time, and the speech opposite party dependent maximum speech time and when the speech available time is lower than them, the mobile phone informs the user about the comparison results. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
