PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable lever tumbler lock which dispenses with the formation of a swelling part on an outer cylinder and which facilitates conversion work for differentiation of key. SOLUTION: Each lever tumbler of the lever tumbler lock is constituted as a combination of approximately C-shaped tumblers A1A and B1B overlapping each other, and supported in such a manner as to be rotatable around the axis line of an eccentric shaft with both ends where a supporting shaft 2 is protrusively provided; an engaging protrusion 9 is formed on the side facing the tumbler B1B at the inside edge of the free end of the tumbler A1A; a plurality of engaging recesses 11, which can be engaged with the engaging protrusion 9 of the tumbler A1A, are formed at the inside edges of the tumbler B1B; the engaging protrusion 9 is disengaged from the engaging recess 11 by pushing down the supporting shaft 2 in the conversion of key differences; a switch member 26 and a conversion member 27 for pressing the switch member 26 are provided in an adaptor 24 which is mounted on the outer cylinder; and the supporting shaft 2 is pushed down via a spacer ring 15.
