摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a skin end from being caught by a door pushed out at the time of airbag deployment in a cleavage part of lining material. <P>SOLUTION: An instrument panel structure comprises a skin 6 with a continuous linear joining part 11 formed at an air bag expanding part, the lining material U arranged inside the skin to be separated from the skin at a predetermined space, and a foamed layer 9 between the skin 6 and the lining material U. In the instrument panel structure for an air bag with the lining material U consisting of the air bag door 8 and base material 7 which is a part other than the door 8, a linear cleavage part 14 is formed at the door 8 so as to nearly polymerize on the joining part 11 in a view from the airbag expanding direction.
