PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a failure of photographing by reliably urging a warning that a high-sensitivity photographing mode is set. SOLUTION: A photographer previously sets a method of representing a warning and executing conditions on a high-sensitivity warning setting screen displayed on an LCD panel 21. If a release button is operated by half depression in photographing a static image, in response to this, a set value of ISO sensitivity is detected to detect whether or not a digital camera is set at high sensitivity. If in high-sensitivity setting, it is determined whether or not a warning is performed on the basis of the predetermined condition, and the warning is represented by the predetermined display method corresponding to this determination result. The warning representation is performed by visual display for displaying a magnified icon 82a(82b) on an LCD panel 21 for a predetermined time or audio representation for emitting a warning message from a speaker.
