<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulb shaped fluorescent lamp having the same outer-diameter dimension as a common incandescent lamp and improving light emitting efficiency and illuminance directly below, and also to provide a lighting fixture without reducing the discharge path length. <P>SOLUTION: At least three or more U-shaped bend bulbs with maximum bulb height of 40-70 mm are arranged so that their U-shaped planes are in parallel and each end part is placed on the circumference of a circle in a glass tube with tube outer diameter of 7-8.9 mm to satisfy 0.5≤d/D≤0.8 and 0.08≤t/D≤0.12, wherein D is an outer diameter of a straight tube part, d is an outer diameter of a bend part, and t is the thickness. A discharge path of 340-400 mm is formed by an interconnecting tube. The total luminous flux is 400-900 lm or more when lit by an arc tube power of 7-11.5 W. The height including a base is 109 mm or less in a lamp equivalent to a 60 W filament lamp, 98 mm or less in a lamp equivalent to a 40 W filament lamp. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
