<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time taken for preparation of printing while being complicated and making a high cost of an apparatus for a shaft less type rotary printing machine and its controlling method, are controlled, and to make enable reduction of spoilage to be accelerated. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of rotary printing machines constructing apparatuses containing a plurality of printers 2a-2n which print on a web 10 and a folder 5 for processing the web 10 to a printing product, driving motors 24a-24n, 4F respectively individually provided to the rotary printing machine constructing apparatuses, and a controller 9 for controlling the rotary printing machine constructing apparatuses and the driving motors is provided. At stop operation time of the rotary printing machine containing end time of printing, the driving motors 24a-24n, 4F are stopped with a tension applied to the web 10. During stop of the web 10 thereafter, control is carried out to maintain a state of applying a brake to upstream and downstream respective one or more driving motors of a plurality of the printers 2a-2n in the driving motors 24a-24n, 4F. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
