PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle riding type vehicle for traveling on irregular ground capable of arranging an oxygen concentration sensor without affecting amenity of an occupant and receiving influence of external force, in ATV. SOLUTION: An exhaust pipe 18 is drawn from an engine 2 to a rear side of the vehicle. A muffler 19 provided with a catalyst 43 is connected to a distal end of the exhaust pipe 18. The oxygen concentration sensor 42 for controlling combustion is provided near the catalyst 43 on the exhaust pipe 18. The ATV 1 has a front fender 14, a rear fender 15 and a foot rest 44 arranged therebetween. The oxygen concentration sensor 42 is arranged in the rear fender 15 such that it is left from the foot rest 44 and is not exposed to the outside. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI.
