摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce the subject composition, capable of improving the strength when melted and excellent in moldability by irradiating a propylene (co)polymer composition, prepared in the presence of a previously activated catalyst and having a high melt tension with ionizing radiation. SOLUTION: This modified propylene (co)polymer composition is obtained by irradiating a polypropylene (co)polymer composition, comprising (A) 0.01-5 pts.wt. of a copolymer of an olefin-dialkenylsilanes and (B) 100 pts.wt. of a propylene homopolymer or a copolymer of propylene and other olefins and having a high melt tension with ionizing radiation (preferablyγ-rays or electron beams) and then heat-treating the radiated composition. The dose of the ionizing radiation is preferably 0.1-100kGy. Furthermore, the propylene-based (co)polymer is synthesized by using a previously activated catalyst obtained by carrying out the previous activating treatment of an organometallic compound catalyst component comprising a transition metallic catalyst component and a metal selected from groups I to III of the periodic table with an olefin and dialkenylsilanes.
