PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fetal movement detecting apparatus capable of securely detecting the fetal movement including the respiration of a subject. SOLUTION: The fetal movement detecting apparatus comprises a detection mat 11 with a build-in pressure-sensitive pipe 12, a mattress 3 disposed above the detection mat 11 for mounting a subject 100, and a flexible member 4 closely attached to the mattress 3 and the detection mat 11 between the mattress 3 and the detection mat 11 to be deformed according to the fetal movement of the subject 100 on the mattress 3. Though the mattress 3 is thick and hard and the fetal movement transmitted to the mattress 3 is minute, the fetal movement of the subject 100 can be securely caught by the flexible member 4, and the fetal movement of the subject 100 on the mattress 3 can be transmitted to the pressure-sensitive pipe 12 via the flexible member 4. Therefore, the fetal movement including the respiration of the subject 100 can be securely detected. |
