The invention relates to a cathode ray tube comprising a frame/mask unit for selection of colours (9, 20), in which the free end of the skirt on the mask (15) is held by brackets (30) fixed to the frame (20), such as to minimise the spurious movements of the mask skirt caused by the general vibrations of the tube environment.
