The bag holder has a mast (1) and a bridge (3) articulated by a hinge (7), and having pegs (8) for receiving bags. The mast has an extension bar (2) and a fixation unit (4) at its base. Velcro bands (5) are adhered on the fixation unit on both sides of the mast and rolled up around a tube of a plat-form of a shopping cart. The bridge is constituted of a tube and a fixation unit (6) attached to an upper part of the cart by Velcro bands.
