The device has intermediate units (3, 4) placed concentrically with respect to each other. The unit (3) has slots (103) cooperating with slots (101) of a driven shaft, and cams (203) cooperating with grooves (204) of the unit (4). The unit (4) has slots (304) cooperating with an inner surface of a driving shaft. The cams and the grooves allow longitudinal sliding of the shafts with respect to each other. An independent claim is also included for concentric rotating shafts coupled by a coupling device.
