PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blanket capable of being printed a pattern along a recessed part in an uneven article to be printed, and a method for manufacturing it. SOLUTION: The blanket is a blanket for offset printing equipped with a substrate layer prepared by sticking base fabrics, and a surface rubber layer overlaying it. The surface rubber layer is prepared by transferring an uneven shape of the surface of the article to be printed. The method for manufacturing is the method for manufacturing the blanket of the present invention, and comprises a process wherein the surface rubber layer is molded by using the uneven article to be printed as a mold.
