PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bulky gloss coated paper having a low density, bulkiness, and high white paper glossiness, useful as printing paper of which the print quality is good, and especially capable of being used as paper for a magazine and a photographic inventory, and further capable of being used as non-impact printing paper and copying paper. SOLUTION: This bulky gloss coated paper has a coated layer having a three-layer structure containing pigments and binders as main components on a surface of bulky base paper, preferably, on the surface of the base paper having a density of≤0.75 g/cm<SP>3</SP>, wherein a third layer (outermost layer) of the coated layer having the three-layer structure comprises a layer containing a plastic pigment and/or satin white in an amount of 1-15 mass % based on an amount of the total pigments and the paper has the white paper glossiness of≥70% and the density of≤1.00 g/cm<SP>3</SP>.
