PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embedded type hanger capable of regulating the turning speed of an arm, preventing the arm from being instantaneously housed in a recessed part and surely hooking an article on a hook. SOLUTION: The embedded type hanger 1 is constituted of a vertically long case 3, a vertically long arm 4 turned up and down in a vertical direction, a coil spring 5 for turning the arm 4 upwards in the vertical direction and a breaking device 6 for suppressing the repulsive force of the spring 5. The arm 4 is provided with an upper end part 16 where the hook 19 is formed, and a lower end part 18 where a pressurizing projection 21 is formed and which is rotatably attached to the case 3 through a shaft 20. The breaking device 6 is provided with a housing 26 housing viscous granules and a breaking gear 27 rotatably attached to the housing 26. The turning speed of the arm 4 turned upwards in the vertical direction by the repulsive force of the spring 5 is gradually reduced as it is turned upwards in the vertical direction by the rotation resistance of the breaking gear 27.
