DATA RECEIVER AND CLOCK RECOVERY METHOD USED FOR SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data receiver for satisfying the directly-opposed technical requirements of suppressing the production of errors caused by fluctuations and high speed tracking performance in the case of clock recovery by the data receiver for receiving data transmitted through an ATM network.

SOLUTION: The data receiver recovers clocks at the side of a data transmitter on the basis of a weighted average of a difference between a prescribed target data amount and the amount of data transmitted from the data transmitter via the ATM network and stored in a buffer, and variations of the weighted average.
